HIV Vaccine Development

An overview of the process of HIV vaccine development and the many steps that a vaccine has to pass in order to guarantee it’s safe and effective to use.

An HIV vaccine is achievable especially when developed together with the people it seeks to benefit most. To do so, it is critical that we adopt a participant-centered approach in the design of clinical trials that taps into the resourcefulness, resilience, and knowledge of the participants and their communities.
