Louis Schwartz

Louis Schwartz manages IAVI’s financial operations, supervising global financial planning and forecasting, grants and contracts, audit and compliance, knowledge management, and information technology departments.

Schwartz has more than 30 years of experience in international finance and management in both the public and private sectors. Before joining IAVI, he served as vice president for finance and administration at the American Jewish World Service, where he oversaw the organization’s budget and led the finance, information technology, human resources, and facilities teams. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer at the nonprofit Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City, and at Troika Dialog, a Russian investment bank. He also held various finance leadership positions in commercial banking in Moscow and New York City. He is a member of the CFO Roundtable and Dobbs Ferry School District’s Board of Education.

He holds a B.A. in business administration from Georgetown University.
